Boysun is part of the Tentative list of Uzbekistan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Boysun is a mixed nomination of historical and cultural landscape located on the ridge of the Baysuntog mountain range It includes numerous archeological sites like Teshik-Cave (where a Neanderthal skeleton was found), the Greco-Macedonian Fortress of Kurganzok, or the Iron Gate Kushan wall. Huge fossilized dinosaurs’ tracks were also found. Numerous traditional rituals are still alive and inscribed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
